8 week Beginners Meditation Course

This course is designed for:

  • wellness studios

  • corporate teams

  • public service teams

  • business leaders, way makers & influencers

  • education teaching teams

In this course you will establish a daily meditation routine that quietens the mind and activates the energetic technology of your body. I draw on ancient esoteric teachings, neuroscience and the latest research on the nervous system to help you understand the technology of your own body.

Practicing meditation daily clears the modern day accumulation of stress, supporting us to be more efficient, creative and decisive, cultivating a clear and focused base state.

I will teach a simple meditation method uniting mantra, the chakra system and polyvagul theory, that you can incorporate into your every day life. We will cover all the basics needed to get you established in to a routine of your own independent 20min daily practice. The framework of the course includes theory and practice, with a 90min session once a week over 8 weeks.

The course includes modules on the neuroscience of meditation, understanding the science behind the nervous system and stress response. Esoteric schools of thought. Learning the foundations for a daily practice: posture, set, setting and senses. Navigating the thoughts coming up and out. Establishing a solid 20min daily practice that releases stress, de-excites the nervous system, cultivating a neutral and creative state to expand through.

The course includes:

Entry Requirements

If you are interested in taking the course, then we recommend booking on early as there is a lot of deep preparatory work to do to prime you for the training. We have books and poetry for you to soak up and these take time to land in the body ahead of the training. We want you to have plenty of time with the prep work for the best outcome on the course.

– basic piano skills helpful but not essential

– The format of this course is not suitable for people with bipolar disorder and PTSD. From our previous experience in this area, 1-1 work is best suited for clients in this category. Please see Nikki’s Personal Kirtan 1-1 Kirtan Leader Coaching programme.

– we ask that you purchase, borrow or hire a harmonium to use during the course. We suggest you do your research now to give yourself time to organise this, we have recommendations of where to purchase a harmonium. If necessary, we will find a way to support you in accessing one for the duration. That acknowledged you will certainly want to have your own instrument to develop your own practice at home and for sharing the fruits of your training with your community afterwards.

“I love Lisa’s modern and gentle approach (the image of Tibetan monks sitting on top of mountain meditating for 10 days is a bit daunting...). She listens to you and understand your needs so she can provide you with a bespoke guidance that's most suitable to your own personal meditation journey, be it dealing with stress or anxiety, or how to clear your mind and set you up for success.”
